Aero Themes Broken or Themes Service errors, "Error 1068" or "Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion"

This is a common problem happening with windows 7. When you go to personalize your windows theme (right click on your desktop. select personalize from drop down menu.) you will see your windows basic theme has been grayed out.

There are so many discussions you can find on internet. It's a struggle to find the easiest and harmless solution. I ensure the method included in this post will be a harmless and a easier way. Let's see how it can be done.

First we have to find the exact problem.
Go to desktop. Right click. Select personalize.
On the below of the window there is a 'troubleshoot' option. click on it.
Then windows 7 will detect a problem similar to ;

'desktop windows manager could not be started'

Then go to the run menu by pressing win+r. Type services.msc  

You will be entered to the services window. Make sure your Desktop windows manager session manager is "started" and started type is set to the "automatic". If not right click and start it. If it is successful, just see whether your problem is fixed.

If it shows a error similar to "Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion"

or "error 1068: /the dependancy service or group failed to start"

Go to command prompt and open it as administrator. To do that, click windows button. Type cmd in your windows search bar. Then right click on command prompt icon and select run as administrator.  

Now type,
sc  qc  themes
press enter. You will see something similar to;

Since the Themes Service has no dependencies you need to remove all the dependencies from the Themes Service. To do that type
sc  config  themes  depend=  ""
press enter.

Then restart the theme service by typing,
net  start  themes

 That's it. :-)

malwarebytes  and adwcleaner are good and free softwares that I know.
